Our Film
The Offer is a short film about a woman seeking revenge. Judy’s
life has had its fair share of ups and downs until one day she catches her
husband in bed with another woman and her life is turned inside out. Struggling
with her inner demons she asks the one person she thinks she can trust to get rid of her cheating husband only to find out her husband has similar plans for her. How Judy handles the situation is far from expected.
Gordon & Kyiha Waddell’s script is based on the screenplay written by Stefan Adamsson. We’ve got a great cast and a crew of Australian film industry professionals, but we’re lacking the key ingredient… money. This is why we’re asking you to become a part of our film by donating what you can.

We have all the ingredients for a really successful short film. We have a great script, crew and cast.
Producer / Director Gordon Waddell (http://www.waddellproductions.com.au/) having come from a stunt background, Gordon started directing in 2005 and hasn't looked back. Gordon has recently shoot his first feature film “Birth of a Warrior” in Sydney and has been signed to direct his second in 2013.
Producer Kate Ryerson ( http://www.imdb.com/name/nm4292801/ ) comes from an acting background with experience in 1st Assistant Directing and producing short form work. Her insight to working on low budget productions is a welcome advantage to our project.
Director of Photography Ashleigh Carter (http://ashleighcarter.com/) is experienced with all of the current HD formats and has worked on productions such as Tomorrow, When the War Began, Rescue Special Ops and Sea Patrol, just to name a few.
Lead Actor Dean Kyrwood (http://www.starnow.com.au/deankyrwood) is very passionate about Film. Having spent 12 years as an international model, he has embraced acting having roles in such productions as Mao's Last Dancer, Rescue Special Op's and Deadly Women.
Lead Actress Kate Ryerson (http://www.starnow.com.au/kateryerson) is no stranger to the stage or screen with credits such as Birth Of A Warrior, Behind Mansion Walls and Alex and Eve & Alex and Eve The Wedding.
WHERE DO YOU FIT IN?
We have created different levels of pledge (on the right of the page), each of them with a reward that we know you'll enjoy. As with all short films careful consideration is always given to the budget and although our cast and crew are donating their time, there are still some elements that need to be paid for such as the hiring of equipment, locations, catering, logistics and post-production costs.
We need your help to make this film. Your
contribution will assist us in the funding of our production, making all the
difference on the screen.
You'll be helping a team of talented film-makers put together a great film for festival circulation with our first stop being Tropfest 2013. The Offer is set to be an exciting project and by helping us to get this film off the ground you will not only receive rewards for your pledges, you will receive undying love and gratitude from the team we cannot do this without you!
