HAMMERS

G'day fam! It's your old mates HAMMERS here, and we are excited to announce that our debut full-length album 'Death Wobbles' is nearing completion! It's so close we can taste it! To get this thing over the line, sooner rather than later, we are opening up the official pre-order campaign here on Pozible. The aim of doing it through Pozible, is so we can raise the funds to finish the recording process, and get the album pressed to limited edition vinyl straight up! Look at it as buying the album now, and receiving it in 3-4 months time when it's done. By purchasing it now, you'll be directly helping us finish off this project, and also be rewarded for doing so. A bit of background on the situation: 
HAMMERS is a totally independent band, meaning we pay our own way for everything, always have. We have been self-funding our national tours, merchandise, and all previous recordings up until this point. Additionally, we invested upwards of 50K in structuring, engaging, negotiating, managing and executing the task of bringing North Carolina natives, He Is Legend over to tour nationally with us. A fortitude testing experience that we are collectively all very, very proud of. 
We have also self-funded 2 x EP’s plus all accompanying singles, absorbed the expenses of 8 professionally filmed music videos AND produced two short film documentaries to help build the brand that has become ‘HAMMERS’. 


We've been working on this full-length album since late 2023 and following the very successful release of the singles 'Top Fun', 'Fucked Around & Found Out' and most recently 'Traps’, we could not be more excited to bring to all of you, the remainder of what we have boiled up back here. A total of 12 fully recorded rippers, 7 of which are mixed and mastered, the last 5 awaiting vocal tracking, final production and the mixing / mastering that will follow. We also deem this slab more than worthy of a vinyl pressing and feel that you legends deserve it just as much as the songs do.



We were lucky enough to receive an Arts Grant from the Gold Coast City Council, mid 2024, which has been a big help getting the album off the starting blocks. Big-ups to the GCCC as they have been a big supporter of our various musical projects over the years (through our involvement with bands such as HELM, Electric Horse and now HAMMERS).

We realise times are tough for a lot of people at the moment, and that's why we are using the Posible platform for the offical album pre-order campaign. There are different levels of purchases you can choose from, all of which will be used as a pre-order of the new album. All contributors will get a digital version of the album sent to them 1 week before the official release date, and have their name immortalised forever with a listed mention in the credits of the physical vinyl release! The tiers then go up, ranging from signed first pressings of the vinyl, limited edition merch, skate decks, AAA backstage access, Q&A’s, hand written lyrics sheets, BBQ hangs with the band, and we'll even come to your house and play in your backyard - or kitchen!
