Long story short:
Hanna Silver and Paul Harmon, AKA The Prince Of Seagulls, have made an album together. It needs to get out into the world so it can play with all the other albums. Your contribution will help us release the album. So far, the album's music is complete; all that currently remains is for us to finalise the artwork and have the CDs manufactured.
Its character is that of a film sound track, only no one's made a film for it. Maybe your involvement can weave a magical film-like substance of chi and bring it to life. Your money will invoke a spirit of imagery and fables to bring meaning to our work. If you know what I mean.

Short story long:
Paul and Hanna met on the interwebs circa 2008, via Myspace messaging, Paul asked Hanna's band Inverto to do a remix for one of his tracks. Hanna said, "no one else in Inverto has time for anything." Paul said, "ok then, you do it." With Paul's belief in her and a pinch of catnip, Hanna made her first ever remix, of Harmon's Thunderstorm. Not long after that, Paul stalked Hanna's Soundcloud page and found all her random synth sounds that didn't have tracks to live in. Like a musical Mr Squiggle, Paul took Hanna's synth squiggles and turned them into complete tracks. And thus, The Prince Of Seagulls was born. The album we are releasing has 13 tracks on it. If you can help us release our album, not only will we actually love you forever, but you'll get to listen to it whenever you want and feel warm and fuzzies, knowing that we couldn't have released it without YOU. So far, we have paid for everything out of our own pockets, so your help with funding will directly help to feed us dinners.

We had some help with mixing, mastering and session players, which all up cost us $1150
Artwork for the release will all up cost us around $700
We made a film clip for our single Stars In The Sky, which cost us $620
Upload onto tune core publishing $75, and music distribution (3 years) $130
CD production and barcode purchase $687.50
Hours spent recording the album: hundreds.
Food eaten before and after recording sessions: lots of sandwiches, some spaghetti bolognaise, at least one cat, some kale and some live seaweed.
Payment to Pozible for hosting this crowd funding campaign: $175
Extra fees we'll pay for your donations: Credit / Debit Card on Pozible : 2.4% + 30c (Australian card) / 3.4% + 30c (international card) for each transaction. Paypal fee is 2.4% + 30c per transaction.
