First of all THE PROJECT!
A play called ‘The Typists’ by Murray Schisgal. We will present a three week season at The Exchange hotel including a matinee dedicated to low income and unwaged residents of the Leichhardt LGA. Goldele came across this little gem years ago and it took hold in her brain basically because it's her worst nightmare!

While we have applied for arts grants, if we are successful, they won't come through til May and we need your $$ to pay our up-front costs.

SYNOPSIS
‘The Typists’ is an absurd comedy that investigates the lifetime of Sylvia and Paul, encapsulated in one day at the office they work in. Paul talks big about becoming a lawyer and climbing the corporate ladder; Sylvia, a shopaholic, is bitterly single and dreams of marriage. Can they break out of the mundane cycle of the daily grind and find meaning in their lives?

The biggest obstacles are always money, money money and getting bums on seats.

BUT, our biggest win so far is getting a FREE VENUE from our amazing sponsors The Exchange Hotel, Balmain.

We have sought funding from multiple sources and are seeking more in-kind sponsors for props and technical equipment. In regards to getting a solid paying audience we will undertake multi ranged marketing & PR campaign that will include social media, event listing and mainstream media.
