Hannaka

Hello! We are Hannaka and Yibalo. Hannaka is from Australia, Yibalo is from Haiti. We are two passionate musicians and star-crossed lovers. We found eachother while Hannaka was playing music in the streets of Buenos Aires, Argentina and fell in love.

It was profound, 

It was holy, 

It was musical, 

It was the dream, 

It was "let's get married"

It was "wow, my love, WE ARE PREGNANT!"

Since then, Hannaka has returned to Brisbane Australia to get ready for the baby, which is due on the 9th of July, become a music teacher, so she can look after her family and sort out that travel debt. Due to inflation and a financial crisis in Argentina last year, Yibalo, along with hundreds of thousands, lost his job. So in December we left eachother, not knowing when we can see eachother again. 

Now the most important thing is getting Yibalo to Australia to be there for the birth of his first-born child with the woman he loves. 

Full on right?

Lucky we feel so ready and so sure. 

Unlucky that there was a financial crisis last year in Argentina. 

Lucky that Yibalo just found a new job (although the economy in Argentina isn't so flash at the moment).

Unlucky that because Hannaka is pregnant, finding a job is tricky.

Lucky that we wrote so many songs together.

Unlucky that the music profession isn't more reliable.

Lucky that we got married and can go for our partner visa.

Unlucky that the visa now costs around $7000....

Lucky that we have amazing friends and family around us!!!

So now we are sending our plea out to our friends, family, community and even the person who loves a happy ending and a good love story, to help in celebrating our love and the child that we are making. Help bring us back together for the birth of our baby. We promise it is going to be one amazing human being!!!

So as we said, the visa costs around $7000. 

$6850 for the visa.

$150 in fees.

That will not include his flights, the immigration agent or all the medical examinations he will have to go through...we will be scrimping and saving ourselves to be able to cover that. 

The price to be together in Australia, uph!

The Australian Immigration laws. 

Wow they sure are steep, and they want to know EVERYTHING! We have been careful documenting everything, taking lots of photos, translating our wedding certificate, getting police checks... you know, all the nitty gritty things they will be asking when we put in our application. We also feel it helps that we have a baby on the way, that has got to count for something!!!

With your help and impeccable organisation we can certainly tackle this beast!
