John and friends are embarking on the second leg of the Home Run 4 Julian Tour after a successful tour of regional towns in Victoria and NSW in March.  Putting pressure on local MPs, advocating for his son's freedom and sharing some of the truths that embarrassed the powers that be ... truths about what is happening right here, under our noses in Australia.

Five months after the British courts ruled that he cannot be extradited to the US where he faces 17 espionage charges totalling 175 years imprisonment under the notorious 'Special Administrative Measures', Julian Assange is still being kept a prisoner at the behest of the US while they appeal the court's decision.

The world now knows the lengths that governments will go to in order to stop the truth about their war crimes being made public.

It’s time to bring Julian home.

The budget is focused on supporting John to raise awareness of Julian’s plight, and to persuade the government to act to bring Julian home.  The budget covers:

• Essential tour costs, such as fuel, supplies for tour members, etc;
• Promotional resources, such as flyers, t-shirts and flags, to draw attention to the tour and its goal.

Any funds raised in excess of that required for this tour will be used for John's ongoing campaign to bring Julian home.
