House Conspiracy is a contemporary arts space for residencies, events, and private use. Located at 42 Mollison St in Brisbane's central West End, across from where The Burrow once was, we are focused on empowering artists to create a more diverse and vibrant Brisbane.
House Conspiracy offers free working space bookings for emerging and independent artists, as well as free event hire for non-ticketed events, providing space in a town where it's hard to find.
Thanks to the massive support of our volunteers (above) we've just about finished the main renovations that need to happen to the House to make it a functioning arts space. But there's still a few more things we need to make our little House shine.
How The Funds Will Be Used
Our goal is to raise $12500 to keep the house running at its best through 2017. 'Best' is a comparative term, but here it means making sure we have ample toilet paper, glue sticks and staging to keep our artists in a healthy working environment. Here's a graphic breakdown of how the funds are going to be spent:
So have a gander at our spiffy rewards list and see if there's anything that takes your fancy. All Donations above $10 include a House Conspiracy membership. This entitles you to make free bookings for workshops and rehearsals.
If you grab one of our many tangible prizes you will need to come over to the House and grab them with your own hands—or cup, if you pick our 'B.Y.O Cup O' Dirt' reward.

The Challenges
It's hard to make things happen in the arts. Especially in Australia; especially in Queensland; especially in Brisbane.
We're running this crazy operation on a shoestring budget, which is why this campaign (and its associated stretch goals) are so important to us—we want to support 68 artists in the first year of our residency program, and we want to support hundreds more as they pass through our hirable spaces during that same timeframe. We're excited. We're keen. We are ready to rumble—but we do really need your help to make that happen.

A House Conspiracy Membership will get you a 6 month entitlement to access our services: book unlimited local workshop, rehearsal or performance space all for only $10.

Scrawl on the Wall
We have some very nice hands. For $25 we'll use these hands to scrawl your name somewhere on our walls. We can't promise it will stay there forever, our walls have a habit of getting painted regularly, but at our next open house event come and try to find which nook and cranny we've hidden your name. No prizes for finding your name. The true gift is the journey.
