LinkedIn meets Sex and the City – bringing the world’s successful women together for champagne networking.

Business In Heels has quite simply and suddenly taken the world of women in business by storm. This high-end networking concept is simple – attract the right women, put them in the right space, and allow them to connect socially first. If they hit it off, they will find a way to work together. The winning formula replaces formalities, name badges and long speeches with fun, canapés, bubbles, and goody bags.

Founded in early 2013 by former Australian show producer Jac Bowie, Business In Heels started as a Sydney-only community in just 12 short months, this simple girly get-together for professional sassy ladies went from one event to over 50 branches across Australia, New Zealand, United Arab Emirates, Singapore, Thailand, United States, Spain and Canada.

“We’re the naughty girls of business,” says Jac. “We’ve done away with serious and boring to give women something bigger to be a part of, a WORLDWIDE network, where they can arrive and attend a Business in Heels event in another country and be welcomed with open arms.”

We would like to take the business to the next level with the production of our first ever Business in Heels Magazine, which will be available at all branch events, and via subscription to our 60,000+ online members worldwide.

We'd love to enlist the involvement of our fantastic event and branch partners to use this great new glossy platform to promote their brand and business to our extensive network of members around the world.

Business in Heels Magazine is the sassiest, smartest, stylish, and up-to-date monthly magazine for professional women. In a world awash with business and economic news, the new Business in Heels Magazine will provide a refreshing insight and understanding as to what it’s like to be a modern woman in business with around 50% of the magazine having a business focus.

And we will do this by content – coverage of top female business personalities, upcoming startups & entrepreneurs, trends, companies, issues and advice, written by Australia’s leading business and women’s interest journalists.

And we will do this through our organisation – dedicated Business sections, Wellbeing and Women’s Interest sections straddling the features well, with even more offerings online. Business in Heels Magazine is Australian in emphasis, but forcefully global in scope. It is smart, forward-looking and firmly committed to rewarding readers for their time by energizing, empowering and equipping them to take their dreams and aspirations to the next level..

An inspiring editorial team, combined with a creatively driven sales force, produces a business magazine that meets and exceeds the needs of female orientated business people and provides opportunities for marketers to reach an affluent, decision-making audience of senior managers and professionals throughout our expansive network.

Every month, Business in Heels will deliver a compelling mix of content, which reflects our readers ‘can do' attitude. This includes the ‘The Next Big Thing, ‘Women Who Inspire' and ‘Girly Gadgets' which inspires the reader to think differently and challenge perceptions.

Alongside this, women’s interest also remains at the centre of the reader's world. Therefore our Wellbeing, Beauty and Fashion sections will also provide inspiration for achieving that ultimate work/life balance and assist in our constant aim to “have it all”.

The publication will be distributed through our 50 branches across Australia, New Zealand, USA, UAE, Canada, Spain, Singapore and Thailand, attracting a potential readership of over 60,000+ professional sassy ladies, all who either own their own business, are entrepreneurs or decision makers in their business.

How The Funds Will Be Used

We will be using these funds to assist with the costs of producing content, design and printing of this first edition, and ideally, set up a great advertising system for the magazine going forward to allow us the ability to produce the magazine monthly.
