This project is very close to my heart. I have been working hard for the last 4 years, writing songs I believe are worthy of being released on a record - independently - to be enjoyed by others like me, who are inspired every day by music.
I relocated from Canberra to Melbourne 18 months ago to pursue my dream of making music my life. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Music with a contemporary focus, and received the Undergraduate Scholarship for my studies. My biggest goal upon finishing my degree in February 2014 was to have a record I was proud of, that I could launch and distribute!
So far, I've recorded 4 of the 5 tracks that will be featured on the EP (all original works). I am hoping to get these mastered by the end of the year, however times are tough and student budgets are slim!
Your kind, generous donations will be used for the following:
1. Mastering of the 5 tracks ($200)
2. Pressing the physical CD's, as well as printing costs for the covers ($250)
3. Community Radio plugs ($150)
And anything that's left will help me stage a kick-ass launch for the CD next year! WHICH YOU'RE ALL INVITED TO!
