Help my show go to Edinburgh Fringe
The Stall
The Stall is an original one-act play written by Jack Twelvetree and was first performed at His Majesty’s Theatre, Perth, on the 25 March 2021.
The story follows the character Son as he reflects on his relationship with his late Father, and struggles to overcome his grief and guilt. A story of love, loss and how to let go, The Stall breaks down pre-concieved ideas of masculinity and reminds us all to cherish the time we have with the people we love.
The Fringe!
Since it's well recieved premier in 2021, The Stall has been developed for touring the Fringe scene - and where better to kick off it's fringe debut than Edinburgh.
This deeply moving show cuts to the heart of human experience and is sure to connect with audiences and critics at the prestigious Fringe Festival.
With your support, the show will be performed on the Royal Mile, right in the heart of Edinburgh's old city and the hub of the Fringe - but I need your help to make it happen!
The Team (me)!
Jack Twelvetree is a 22 year old, British-Australian actor, based in Sydney; and the creator/performer of The Stall.
Growing up, Jack has spent time living in many different places around the world, including Wales, England, Saudi Arabia, and Australia. This exposure to a variety of rich cultures, peoples, and stories is what has led him to pursue a life as an artist and story-teller.
In 2019, Jack was accepted into the three-year conservatoire actor training program at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA), where he continued to deepen his understanding of acting craft and his role as embodied story-teller.
In his final year of study, Jack was awarded the Western Australian Screen Academy Award for Best Actor (Screen Performance) for his role in the short film Drafted, as well as the Vice Chancellor’s Shakespeare Award for Best Actor, for his portrayal of King Lear.
In the future, Jack's goal is to create and perform high quality theatre, that connects with audiences across the globe. He has a passion for sharing stories and bringing people together through live performance.
