The Journey - a new recording project

On November 28th 2012, John Morrison and Jacki Cooper (that would be me) are embarking on an exciting new recording project. It's been nearly 3 years since we were in the studio, so it is well and truly time to record some new material. We have our regular band members joining us - Tim Fisher on piano, Karl Dunnicliff on double bass, and Jake Barden on sax - and a very special guest joining us on guitar - Australian jazz great, George Golla.
Based on John's favorite saying "It's not the end of the journey that matters, what matters is the journey in the end" (albeit a bastardized version of someone else's famous saying), the album will be called "The Journey" and will feature songs that all have some kind of journey that means something to us - and hopefully to you! I'll keep the titles a surprise for now, but there will be something for everyone - including a new original by me!! (They're very rare, so you can be impressed just by the fact there is one on the album!!)
