In a quick snapshot: We have found ourselves here, crowd funding, because we need your help to realise an incredibly passionate dream and mission of ours which is to encourage Australian's to improve their nutrition and health by eating more fruit and veg, and in doing that - realise the benefits of a daily green smoothies.  We are the co-founders of the most delicious 100% natural superfood smoothies you've ever tasted and want to turn our dreams of big shiny refrigerated vans, cool rooms and machinery (it's funny how your priorities change when you start a small business!) into a reality  - with your help of course!

Here is our story:
We met a few years ago and bonded over our love for all things health and wellness – from trying out weird and wonderful yoga classes, to getting creative in the kitchen with green and sprouted concoctions to attempting charity ocean swims and fun runs.



We’ve tried all sorts of things in our quest to feel more energised, happier, and healthier. Through our personal explorations, one thing stood out the most.. We realised nutrition was the most important thing to maintain good health, in both mind and body (as Hypocrites once said “Let food be thy medicine”) yet it’s the hardest to sustain when you’re time poor and quite simply, often confused with all the conflicting information about what to eat.

For us, green smoothies became a big part of the answer to this nutrition challenge. Green smoothies are full of raw fruits and vegetables, which contain a plethora of vitamins and minerals. They’re easy to consume, are super tasty and do wonders for our bodies.



When we discovered the simplicity and benefits of a green smoothie, we realised they weren’t easy to find already made – certainly not anything that was convenient, 100% natural and not going to break the bank.

Green smoothies became a passion for us, and creating bottled versions to share with others became our goal. We left our jobs to pursue this passion and we’ve put everything we’ve got into growing the business. With the corporate world far behind us, we rented a kitchen and with the help of our families (see below), we started our superfood smoothie company; Where The Wild Things Grow. 



Our first flavour we launched to market was our signature; Super Green Smoothie. We now have two more delicious creations; Rose-Berry and Nuts for Cacao. They are 100% natural, plant-based and each contain a superfood or two for an extra nutrient hit (if you're keen to see what's in them, please refer to bottom of this section). So far, we have been built the business on a very lean scale, have done a lot of customer testing and have received a great response so we know we’re on the right track and that others believe in the benefits of a daily green smoothie too. 




Our Superfood Smoothie Flavours:

The Super Green Smoothie: Spinach, Kale, Pear, Cucumber, Celery, Avocado, Cinnamon, Spirulina, Lemon, Coconut Water.
Rose-berry: Cos Lettuce, Beetroot, Strawberries, Kiwifruit, Dates, Inca Berries, Goji Berries, Rose water, Lemon, Filtered Water.
Nuts for Cacao: Cashews, Cacao, Dates, Vanilla Bean, Chia Seeds, Filtered Water.

New Kitchen Equipment ($1000) – To make sure we can keep up with demand as we grow, we will soon need to move into a new and bigger production facility - we will need to purchase some simple kitchen equipment to 'furnish' our new home
Innovation ($1500) – We use an all natural technology called Cold Pressurisation (or HPP) that helps our smoothies stay fresher longer. We’ve made amazing progress so far, but have a few more important tests to run to continually improve our knowledge of the process.
Packaging ($2000) - It may not be super exciting, but it is essential to make sure we are delivering the highest quality products to you - so purchasing more of the best packaging is integral!
Machinery ($2500) – We have x1 Robocoupe blender (pictured below) that produces all of our smoothies, however as we are growing we will need a second one to make sure we can keep up with demand - this will cover the deposit

If we were to raise more than $10,000 or more we would spend almost all of it on up-scaling our distribution process.
This would include refrigerated transportation, a bottle labelling machine, an ink jet printing machine, a conveyor belt and  a filtration system.... how exciting!!!

From a business perspective, the biggest challenge we currently face is successfully upscaling. We want to help get our delicious green smoothies into the hands of more Australians and to do that we need bigger and better versions of everything!

In terms of this campaign, the biggest challenge is definitely ensuring it reaches as many people as possible to give us the largest chance of raising the money! As we are such a new brand in an increasingly competitive industry, we need all the help and support we can get… Any donation large or small would be greatly appreciated, as would sharing our campaign via social media or e-mail
