Jackie Orme Ward

Pendragon is the designer shoemaking duo Jackie Orme Ward and Adrian Lockwood.  After 27 years of designing and hand-crafting unique footwear and accessories, we have just been invited to take part in World Fashion Week Trade Show in Paris on Sept 30th. This is an international couture show and Pendragon have been invited as the couture shoe brand to represent Australia at this exciting event.  We will show to 70-100 countries worldwide, buyers and international media alike. We will also accessorise the runway show of Green Embassy www.greenembassy.com.au who will be the Haute Couture representative from Australia.

It's an incredible opportunity to be seen on the world stage by the global fashion and retail industry and media. Although we have international clients and it's not the first time we have had exposure through international exhibitions, we've never been viewed through the lens of fashion before. It's come out of the blue so we are still making our plans. It's going to cost quite a bit of money so we are in the process of organising all sorts of things to scrape together the funds required.

Pendragon have managed to pull together our own funds and a personal loan to get us to $7000 which is great, but nowhere near enough to cover this whole venture. 

We have budgeted $5500 for airfares, baggage-freight, transport, accommodation and basic daily incidentals for the two of us.

The remaining $1500 of personal funding and our Pozible support will contribute towards the International Fashion Week Stand fees and the many other associated expenses of exhibiting at a global market.
