There's more to Coffs Harbour than just the
We also have the wonderful
area where we live, work and go to school
and people down at the Jetty are pretty good cooks if we do say ourselves and we love our amazing local
So we came up with a plan to share our treasured recipes and make them into a book which the Coffs High (aka Jetty High) kids would illustrate and cook the food, and then we will
sell the books and give all the money to the
cancer council
But we need some help raising the money to print the books
Jetty Food is about bringing a community together to show they care, and what better way to bring people together than with food. Locals in the Coffs Jetty area are being asked to contribute recipes for granny's scones and dad's chicken marinade, to be collected in a special edition cookbook. We are asking all the Jetty community to contribute a recipe, not just the brilliant restaurants and cafes which thrive in the area, because food brings us together and even if we have nothing else to give, a treasured recipe can help to raise the funds to help support the Cancer Council.
