Help Bali's poor get free medicines

Munti villagers are walking kilometres on narrow tracks to get to the Health Clinic as word spreads of its existence. Dr. Komang works there 4 afternoons a week, with a monthly wage of $250, (which I fundraise for).  Nengah is a 19 year old lad that I have employed as the Doctor assistant/cleaner/security and he receives $60 month. The Kardinia Rotary Club of Geelong are very generously paying his wage for a year. This just leaves the medicines at $500 - $600 for 3 months supply. Hence this pozible campaign. The medications bought in January this year have run out due to the success of the Health Clinic. It is very rewarding to know the Clinic has come to fruition and that Bali's poorest of the poor are receiving practical help.  If villagers can afford to pay a little bit, 50c, $1 etc that is great, if they are truly poor it is free. Dr. Komang knows no one is to be turned away. The equivalent of $20 was received from patients last month, which pays for the electricity, light globes and a supply of water for patients. So please be assured any donation of any size is really valued.
I have included a photo / video of an unwell, very distressed lady who came to the Clinic and had no money at all. She was under the impression that the Clinic would be free only on the Opening Day. She started to cry tears of relief and gratitude when it was explained to her that she could still see Dr. Komang and receive any medications needed for free. The villagers are incredibly grateful and a little bit in awe that they have a Doctor and a 'proper' health service in their village.

How The Funds Will Be Used

With Bali Smiles there is no corruption, no middle men, no admin fees.  100% of donated funds raised in this campaign, will buy the range of liniment oils, medicines, tablets, baby panadol, antibiotics etc etc required by Dr. Komang to treat the patients who come to the Bali Smiles Health Clinic. The prediction was between $500 to $600 for a 3 month supply.

The Challenges

No challenges exist for this project - once the money is raised and delivered to Dr. Komang he can but the needed medications. As a Doctor he gets tablets/injections/medicines at a discounted rate. I used to buy medicated eye drops for some villagers at IDR40,000 ($4) whereas he can buy them for IDR10,000 ($1).

A BIG thank you!
