I am proposing for the printing of my booklet

,"A Mother and Daughters Guide to Menstruation the Moon and Mother Earth".

This is a small 16 page booklet, it is for mothers with daughters coming into womanhood, it explains fully the process of menstruation and ovulation, and the less familiar topic of how women are connected with the moon and moon phases. It is concise and to the point, not bombarding your daughter with too many facts and figures...

It promotes the use of environmentally friendly and organic menstrual products, for the good of our environment.

This is booklet 1 in a series called "The Trinity" booklet 2 is called "A Women's Guide: Womb Luna Love" and Booklet 3 will be called "Grandmother".

The time is now that we educate, reevaluate and make real change,

by educating young girls in the importance of using non-disposable and organic menstrual care

can only be beneficial in reducing planetary waste.

Disposable menstrual products make millions of dollars for multi national companies

Disposable menstrual products use chemicals and wood pulp

These chemical are harmful to a girls/woman's body and immune system

Disposable Menstrual Products Contain:

Polyester, polyvinyl and polyacrylates (a salt based chemical that turns to gel when put in contact with liquid)

Alcohols and ethers

Phenol derived from coal tar and carboxymethyl cellulose

Cotton fibers first used in the agricultural industry on seeds and soil to increase water retention are reused by pad and tampon manufacturers!

The average woman will spend $5000 in her menstrual life, she will throw away around 10,000 pad or tampons (Bureau of Statistics Moon Pads Survey)

Disposable and non organic pads and tampons are made  largely from wood pulp, this means many trees are destroyed just to produce a throw away product
