Portraits of Tanzania Exhibition

From the magnificent lions and leopards of the Serengeti plains, to the vulnerable orphanage children in Arusha. From the nomadic and proud Masaai people of the East African Savanna, to the passion of protestors on city streets. Captured during a six week long volunteering project, Portraits of Tanzania presents a glimpse into the soul and character which makes this country so unique.
This is the debut solo exhibition by emerging Perth photographer Jarrad Seng, and will open on Thursday October 6th at Kulcha, Fremantle.
I am seeking funding to help cover the costs involved with running the exhibition: printing and framing of works, venue fees and launch night expenses. Profits from print sales will go towards various humanitarian NGOs I worked with in Arusha.
Any contributions, big or small, would be GREATLY appreciated and go a long way into making this all possible. Please note that the purpose of this campaign is to secure the necessary funds before the official launch; prints will also be on sale at the exhibition.
I have offered up a range of 'rewards' or ways of showing my thanks for your support. The rewards don't reflect the value of the contribution (please don't think of it like you are 'buying' a reward), it's more like a gift, or a way of showing my appreciation. Some amazing organisations have graciously donated some of these gifts, including Black Swan State Theatre Company and Leederville Camera House.
If you are working with an organisation that might be interested in becoming a corporate sponsor of the exhibition, please contact me on [email protected] so I can send you some information on sponsor packages.
