Wouldn't it be nice - A short film
'Wouldn't it be nice' is my second film. One that I am doing for the passion of filmmaking, storytelling and my own insatiable quest for the truth (to reveal it through art).
The story follows two couples going through the same situation. Two women, one in her early thirties, the other late twenties both confess to being pregnant. It's a typical summer day in Perth. They're having a bbq by the pool, swimming and drinking beer but as the day progresses more truths are revealed. What follows is an honest version of two very different reactions. It's an Australian tale. A comedy, a drama. .
Right now I don't have any money to offer this project. I will feed my actors with borrowed money but apart from this my cast and crew will recieve only my gratitude.
The cost for this film will be for props, getting there and back over the five to six days of shooting, I would like to be able to pay my actors and crew, and to provide a vegan lunch each day of shooting.
My previous film which I did at Murdoch University was done with zero funds. But it was much smaller and I had access to a studio. Here is a link to that film:
