On October 2nd after packing up after our gig, I did what I always do and performed what is loosely referred to as an "idiot Check" to make sure we hadn't left anything behind. Turns out, whilst we had our backs turned, someone snatched the smallest thing they could conceal which was Nicole's prized Shure Wireless 58 Beta and receiver (PGXD24). It's not rare or particularly special but to Nicole it was a symbol of how far she had come with her singing.
As a band we've covered a lot of ground and all of us have upgraded our instruments. Ultimately so did Nicole but it took a while. These things cost a grand! The tone and power of the 58 Beta is legendary though so it was only when Nicole felt her singing was worthy did she feel it was time to treat herself. Having it stolen was devestating...

How The Funds Will Be Used
Simply to buy her a new microphone, gift wrap it and give it to here at the end of the first set of one of our gigs :-) I hope to film it so will be sure to link you to the video when it's uploaded...
It's pretty much top of the range so the money will purchase a new hand held mic, the digital signal receiver and a nice case to keep it in. It costs $1000
