Both of these works were born from Jay and Dosh's time spent studying at The Victorian College of the Arts in 2014. After collaborating on the project 'BOX ME', for the International AIDS conference held in Melbourne this year, what blossomed was an artistic relationship of similarities.
Although working in different disciplines, the drive to make work comes from a shared intention. With a focus on queer culture, the constant observations and experiences within this culture is what really inspires both Dosh and Jay to make work.
We are doing this project to engage any audience. We strive to invoke thought, confront the uncomfortable, investigate the hidden and maybe even give you a lump in your throat, and possibly, your trousers. Both Bad Adam and Pony are uncompromising works. Visceral in their honesty and going in for the jugular, yet tenderly seeking to attain the truth of our existence. in uncovering the knowledge born from experience, we attempt to find the creative point in which to make our work. With a queer focus, these works contribute to the visibility of queer culture in Australia.
We need your support to present Bad Adam and Pony at The Midsumma Festival for 2015!

Obstacles for this project would incude not reaching our target funding. This would prove the biggest obstacle because Dosh and jay then would have to find the money independently detracting from the quality of the work.
although as artists we will overcome any obstacle because the drive to do this work is unstoppable.
