In 2012  GGE are presenting Domestic Dreams and Robots as part of the 2012 fringe festival.

It is in the form of a grandiose performance art happening ostensibly to launch the seven inch vinyl recording of the same name.

In 2010 We produced the Eternal Youth Carefree Cleanness Launch Happening with no funding support.

This year we would like to expand the possibilities of our performance project.

Domestic Dreams and Robots is a pretty detailed event, and we are seeking to get a little boost to our budget through some crowdsourcing of funds.

We do not have a formal budget due to our limited time and resources, preferring to operate on a time-priority system which allocates available funds to the most feasible and immediate cost concerns.

We are seeking funding to hire a sound system for the event. The cost of which comes to approximately $400.
This covers a mixing desk, an amplifier, 2 foldback and 2 front of house speakers.

If we raise our target then we will be able to spend our own other money on:

building body puppets
making costumes
building and purchasing props
advertising
special effects eg smoke and bubbles
remote controlled robots
video and audio documentation
set dressing
teapots
gaffer tape
etc.

If we raise more than our target we will be able to spend it on all the above fun stuff plus whatever other exciting ideas we can come up with.

One night only! "Domestic Dreams and Robots" is the new show by Go Genre Everything. From the
people that brought you "Competing Myths of Popular Unconsciousness" and "Eternal Youth Carefree
Cleanness".

It's sort of, like, choreographed conceptual theatre / politico-satire type stuff, with music, dressups, and
giant robots that serve iced tea. lol.
Saturday 13 October KIPL 136 Roden Street West Melbourne 7pm till late.

Domestic Dreams and Robots is a multimedia-performance-happening celebrating the launch of the concept 7"
of the same name. This record is a limited edition in purple vinyl with hand printed covers.

Domestic Dreams and Robots brings together the skills and mental powers of many local Artists, Performers and Musicians. This style of performance happening allows for stacks of different types of creative practitioner to be jammed together under one roof for one night only.

Go Genre Everything brings you this shamanic pantomime with no streaks, no flutter, no flopover. Nothing to
break the spell.

Please find enclosed giant robots, tiny robots, people in pyjamas, television sets, body puppets, bossanova-
tropicana, video projection, prestidigitation, merchandise a la carte, costumes, funny shoes and flying fish. If we
are lucky, we might even see a unicorn. No shit.

Domestic Dreams and Robots is an enchanted cabaret fortress safe from the Real World. Go with it in a
generous spirit of adventure.
