Interceded Living Space, is an exhibition of works I have produced over the past seven years featuring new videos and reconfigured components from previous works. The constructions are informed by memory, domestic architecture and notions of habitation to create an immersive installation.

I plan to exhibit Interceded Living Space at Project Contemporary Artspace in Wollongong from August 3-21. Your support will help to pay for the rental of the gallery space, documentation and a cataolgue essay.

The installation features three different works, Octagonal Rooms, Fictional Documentaries and Living Space along with several new video works. The constructions and installations are fabricated in a variety of recycled and reconfigured materials. I have included a few photos, the ones below show a detail from Octagonal Rooms, and Living Space. Fictional Documentaries is a ongoing performance-for-video project which I began in 2009.

One of the new videos feature a body of work based around the idea of 'gubbins' or miscellaneous items. Odd things collected and recontextualised. I have included a video sample below called Gubbins Quarto.

The funds will be used to create a continuing audience engagement with my work through publicity (promoting my work to galleries and on social media) and having material evidence (documentation) to help me get out there to secure more exhibitions. 

Specifically, your support will enable me to exhibit my work at Project Contemporary Artspace. All money earned will go towards:

• Exhibition documentation

To be successful I need for my work to be seen, and discussed - feedback is essential. I make work for an audience - gallery hire is a significant challenge to that endeavour. Another challenge for any artist working in a regional environment is to continue momentum after an exhibition. To achieve that, I will be documenting my exhibition to add to my portfolio for presentation to ARI's and galleries in Sydney.
