'The Department' is a new short film from Curtin 3rd year students, due to be released at the end of the year. It's the biggest project undertaken by the team so far, due to feature some exciting special effects and fast paced action.

It is a project that is immensely important to each one of us and we've ensured that, from workshopping the script, to the pre-production and planning,  we're constantly perfecting the skills we will need to create the highest of quality films in the second half of 2014.

We are all so dedicated to making this amazing script come to life on screen and we really believe that it is a worthwhile cause to support as the final product will be nothing short of amazing!

We need the support of everyone around us in order to achieve our goal of a well executed production which we can proudly put to our names and kickstart our careers as film makers.

Our film is a fast paced action film therefore our budget will predominately go towards things such as props, location hire, stunt co-ordinator hire, safety officers for such stunts and special effects in order to help us bring the full action film aesthetic to our movie. The film will feature chase scenes, shocking deaths, car accidents and more, so every donation we receive will go towards our set design/props/special effects/costumes which will all work together to make those scenes happen.
