I'm James Stewart a singer, songwriter and lead-guitarist from The Warner Brothers and Overnight Jones, you might have seen me in the T-Bones, or maybe FourDoorShitBox, or maybe even The Purple Hayseeds.....

Carcane is my second solo album, it has 12 new songs that I wrote, it also includes HQ Rear Window my first solo album making it up to 23 tracks and around about 70 minutes of music. Songs about people, songs that I'm proud of played by musicians I've played with and respected for years including Al MacInnes, Miles McNicol, Jim Carden, Michael Barclay, Danny Plant, Alics Gate-Eastly, Paul Thomas, Mal McBeath, Carl Panuzzo, Mick Thomas, Mark Wallace, Ian Kitney, Ed Bates and Andrew Pupillo. It was recorded by Miles McNicol, Mick Thomas and Craig Pilkington at Harry Williamson's, Mick Thomas's and Audrey Studios, Craig mastered it.

It took me eight years, and some heart-ache and this is the final stage. I need to cover the pressing and some of the promotional cost.

If you send me $15AUS i'll post it Australia wide, if you're overseas it'll have to be $15USD. This will occur BEFORE any launch gig or any other opportunity to buy the album elsewhere, I estimate delivery by the end of MAY 2016.

I intend to spend most of the money on booze and guitars, the rest I will waste.....oh, hang on, that's my superannuation.

I intend to spend the money covering the last of my recording bill and the pressing of the CD's.

I've covered most of the $8,000 spent on the various stages of recording, mixing and mastering to date, I'm hoping these pre-sales will get me over the line on the pressing and media costs for the launch and promotion, I have modest aims. 

The first album had 20 Lonely Wives the song with the whistling chorus that was used as a theme for the ABC cricket coverage when it was released, here's hoping that this record gets some airplay too.

There was a risk the way things were going that I would die of old age before I sent this baby on it's way, your help will make sure it dies a natural death before I do.
