The first 'Korea Festival' will be held as an all-day event in Federation Square on Saturday 17 May 2014 in Melbourne. Federation Square is a home to major cultural attractions, world-class events, tourism experiences. There will be an estimated crowd of over 50,000 people on the day of the event. This event showcases many iconic features of traditional and contemporary Korean culture which includes the Busan Metropolitan Traditional Music Orchestra, a Hanbok (traditional Korean costume) Fashion Show, the Korea Festival K-pop Contest, a Taekwondo (Korean martial arts) demonstration and many more exciting features. The festival is aimed to celebrate and promote Korea's unique culture and tradition.

How The Funds Will Be Used

The funds will be used for the cost of hiring federation square.
