GIVING THE COMMUNITY AN OPEN VOICE

This is your chance to support a Q&A event on a community scale called Open Voice, based on the popular ABC Q&A format.

THE EVENT

OPENvoice Q&A is an open forum in a television program format which allows for discussions focusing on current issues that impact on local communities and municipalities.

With a running time of 90 minutes, the forum will offer interested stakeholders a platform to discuss and debate selected issues of the day. Following a Q&A style format, the event will be hosted and mediated by a professional television journalist/presenter with up to 6 panelists appearing. A live audience participation will add a vibrant discussion and debate to the event.

The forum will cover many of the issues the Port Phillip Council will be confronting during the election including the Acland
Street & Fitzroy Street Upgrades, the Palais Theatre management changes, the Triangle Development, Town Planning, Sport & Recreation, Public Housing, Development of Fishermans Bend and Homelessness.

What does the community expect from the council and are they communicating effectively?

Panelists include the current Port Phillip Mayor, A former Mayor, Current Political Candidates and community representatives.

Port Phillip is a diverse and large community.  By supporting this crowdfunding campaign you can receive your general admission tickets at a discounted rate and there are a limited number of business and organisationsal sponsorships available. Your pledge will help to ensure this event goes ahead and communty voices are heard.
