I've been a fan of Dan Warner for a number of years.  I started going to see Dan and Al (McInnes) playing their famous Tuesday night residency at the Great Britain Hotel in Richmond in the early 90's and I can honestly say that those gigs were responsible for me discovering the music of Tom Waits, Neil Young, Michelle Shocked, Billy Bragg and Wilco among others.

Over the years we've become friends and I was honored that Dan played at my birthday a few years back.  

Anyhow, Dan's released a ripping new album "Fall into the Sky" and I want to shoot a music clip to assist in the promotion of the album.

My favourite sub-genre of Dan's songs is the break up song.  I think that he has one of these on every album, from "Is that what they're thinking about us now", "Fortuna", "Almost Autumn Days" to "Photo's from the window of a car" on the latest album.  "Photo's" is my favourite track on the album and this is the song that I have decided to shoot.

Here is Dan performing the song on the Marngrook Footy Show earlier this year.

I have spoken to Dan and he has allowed me to go ahead with the project, so...

The production costs are $6500.00:

1) Camera and lighting rental: $1000.00
2) Cast and crew: $3000.00 (Cameraman, Gaffer, Actors)
3) Location hire: $300.00
4) Car hire: $200.00 (the song is about cars)
5) Art department and catering: $500.00
6) Editing: $1500.

I'm looking to crowdfund from fans of my films and fans of Dan's music and will self-fund the rest.
