So here it is, I'm writing a book about performing for Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida

Recently I was blessed with the opportunity to perform for Walt Disney World on a 12 month contract, however before embarking on my quest I tried and tried to find somewhere to buy a book that could prepare me for such an adventure. I never found that book, so I want to self publish one. 

About Me

A little about me, I was accepted into the role of performer at Walt Disney World in June of last year and have spent all of this year performing across all four parks, select resorts and water parks. 

During this time I've been privileged to work several roles across multiple shows, parades, spectaculars and events as well as on the streets. Events have included outsourced parties and shows, commercial and promo shoots and charity events. 

Disney is a brilliant place to work, and there are so many lessons to learn about performance and stage craft that can be learned at this very unique and sort after destination. 

My Hope

I'm hoping to share stories of my life and entertain people who are curious about the lives lived inside of Disney's walls, but also be a learning point for all of those eager to perform for Disney in the future themselves and have found nowhere to gain an idea about what it's like and how to be the performer Disney is truly looking for.

Costs

The biggest cost I'm looking to fill is editing, I really want to hire a professional editor to copyedit and proofread the book. 

I'd also liked to get it printed nicely, and get it online in ebook format. 

Another big cost is marketing as I'd really like to get the word out there about the book. Goodreads offers marketing campaigns I'd like to take advantage, and so does Amazon 

So Far

At the moment the book is in final stages of writing, and I have been editing and revising the first parts constantly to make sure its ready for copyediting. It's not a very long book, about the size of a novella, which is generally ideal for a book that I anticipate will sell mostly in its E-book edition.
