We are so happy to have reached out goal of $750! Thank you to everyone who contributed to this amount. It really means a lot to us!
WHAT IS NEXT...
KINGS is just starting to embark on it's journey! We are incredibly happy to have reached our goal of $750 but this is only a portion of what we'll need to get this film to its full potential. We still have 29 days left of our campaign and we are not going to stop working hard and pushing our cause to make a short film that we're proud of.
Thank you for believing in us!
THE FILM
KINGS is a short film set in the late 1980's, involving two Australian men and their day leading up to an armed robbery. They travel through a rural landscape and eventually the intentions of one of the males becomes clear in a final act of desperation.
The film stars John Brumpton (Romper Stomper, Gettin' Square, The Hunter, Last Ride) as the Driver and Dame Hill (Frank Theatre Company) as the Passenger.

This raw cinematic experience was created through the use of Kodak Super16mm Motion Picture film and HighSpeed Arri SR3 Camera Production Kit.
THE TEAM
Our team is made up of a group of Swinburne Film and Television School students. Having progressed together through school, we've collaborated on a variety works both on a professional and student scale including short films, documentaries, commercials and music videos.

WHY WE NEED TO RAISE THE MONEY?
"This project started off as a collection of images in my head. With the help of friends and mentors (such as John Brumpton) it has become the short film it is today. I've spent the past year developing this project and it is something I am really passionate about. I hope to get people as stoked about this short film as I am." - Thom Neal
We've completed principal photography and begun cutting in the edit suit. We just need a little bit more funding to finish this project off. This is where you come in! The money raised through Pozible will go to a professional sound mix so that KINGS will have the best cinematic experience possible. With combination of a powerful sound mix, raw visuals, and eyry performances we put "KINGS" onto the national and international festival circuit for the end of 2012 and 2013.
If you have a few dollars to spare donate and help us reach our goal! If not, share our page with your friends and family. Every bit of support counts so thank you for taking the time to read our page and see what we're about!
