Facon - A Short Film

Facon is Josh’s 7th and most ambitious short film yet. It will run for approximately 10 minutes and be completed for his UTS Masters Major Project. The film is based on Felicity Pickering’s monologue of the same name, which was performed at the Australian Theatre for Young People (ATYP) last year.
Facon is a black comedy about Tia, a girl who tells one white lie that spirals out of control. She must confess her love of meat to her vegan boyfriend before he meets her family. The film is essentially a story about family, the things you do for love and staying true to your identity.
We are currently in script development/pre-production with the goal of shooting in mid-late August. The final film must be completed by late October.
Our films have screened at numerous festivals before and our aim is to enter this film into bigger and better festivals around the world. This would help showcase the talents of our cast and crew and hopefully get Josh some exposure as a Director.
