Joymas Creative (Brisbane based production company) will present the first staged development of ONE IN SEVEN, the second and keenly anticipated musical by award-winning composer/playwright Megan Shorey.
This work has been selected as part of the Judith Wright Centre of Contemporary Arts' FRESH GROUND (round 4) initiative.
ONE IN SEVEN is a story about love; a tragedy about cancer and a tale about deceit.

FUNDING GOAL:
While we have wonderful sponsorship and in-kind support, we need to supplement this initial stage of the project to insure the first development is a reality. In effect, your support becomes an investment in the future of the work. With plans to have a second development in early 2012 followed by a national tour, your support of the initial development stage will be securing the ongoing life of the work and will be acknowledged as such, in its future incarnations.
It is our plan to livestream the presentation on the 26th October @7pm, so even if you are in a remote corner of Australia, or, indeed, over the other side of the world, YOU will still have the chance to see your support in action, 'on the floor', and absolutely free!
