Greenside is a mockumentary short film written by Justin Matthies as his graduation film. It follows Anthony as he packs up and leaves his life in the city, to take over the day to day runnings of his late Grandmother's dairy farm.
How The Funds Will Be Used
We're trying to produce Greenside as cheap as possible, however we still need as much help as we can! Your kind donations will be put towards the following:
Equipment Hire
We'll try to use as much equipment from our uni for free as we can, however we'll need to hire a few things, such as lenses and camera stability equipment.
Travel
We've secured a farm we can film at for free, however since the crew is based in the city, we'll need to travel there. We'll be using as much public transport as we can to keep costs low, however we'll still need to transport all our equipment around.
Production Design
We need to make our sets and characters believable! Therefore we'll need to source some costumes and props.
Catering
Apparently people like to eat, so we'll need to provide lunch and snacks for all cast and crew. Sandwiches, anybody?
Data Storage
We'd hate to film for 3 days, and then lose everything! We'll need to buy a few portable hard drives to make back ups and store all our footage in a safe place, should anything bad happen!

The Challenges
Our biggest obstacle will be the fact we're filming away from the city. However we've managed to secure free accommodation locally, and we have a dedicated team who are up for the challenge.
