Our heartiest thanks and appreciation to everyone who has helped us reach our funding goal - we are stoked to officially be in pre-production! 

If you want to be part of the series, there's still time - our campaign will continue until Friday 24 June, so get in over the next few days and you can get your name on the credits! 

We're stoked that we're now able to cover the large-scale costs of production, and now we're undertaking one final push to try and cover smaller, but none the less necessary things like harddrives, parking and fuel costs, and make-up to make us look especially haggard on Saturday mornings. So don't be deterred by us having reached our goal - every single cent counts and contributes to the production value of the series.

ABOUT THE SHOW

Fragments of Friday is a brand new web series in development from Australian writer / director Kacie Anning.

Slated for 7 webisodes, Fragments of Friday follows the friendship of two 20-something housemates Alex (Kacie Anning) and Sophie (Sarah Armanious) as they write themselves off each Friday night, and are forced to spend their Saturdays piecing back together the night before.

As a result of their Friday-night-antics, Alex and Sophie’s friendship takes a left-turn and suddenly they find themselves fighting to re-piece together the fragments of their friendship. Told with humour and poignancy, the story of Fragments of Friday speaks to the great tradition of female friendship through the scope of hazy memories, drunken honesty and above all, affection.

If successful, we'll be going in to production in mid-July, with episodes delivered to your computer screens by October 2012. And, if you're fanging for a DVD in your hand, we'll have your rewards out just in time for Christmas. 

WHAT WE'LL USE YOUR HARD EARNED CASH FOR

If we're successful, your money will go towards the production costs of a one week shoot in which we aim to film all 7 Fragments of Friday episodes. Your contribution will help fund:

- Equipment Hire

- Production Design

- Paying our freakin' Sound Recordist (7Ds are dropping out of trees, but sound equipment is not. And even if it was, we don't know how to use it.)

- Catering

With your help, Fragments of Friday is going to be completely free to view and share, at numerous online locations. We can wax lyrical about all the rewards available to your left, but at the end of the day, we believe the biggest reward we can provide our contributing audience is a finished web series that delivers on all the promise of its trailer, and reaffirms your decision to invest in our project.
