WHO ARE WE? 

Kayleigh Pincott is a singer, composer and arranger based in Brisbane, Australia. Kayleigh has spent the last few years writing and refining her original music, culminating in the release of her debut album, ‘SOLACE’, this year. The 2016 winner of the prestigious ‘Generations in Jazz’ Vocal Scholarship, Kayleigh’s sensitive and captivating performance style, complemented by her strong sense of swing, has her labeled as one of Australia’s most exciting young vocalists.

THE MUSIC:

I'm very excited to present my debut album, 'SOLACE'! The 10-track album features 8 of my original songs and a couple of modern jazz covers. I've been writing and playing my original music for a few years now and when I brought these songs to the quintet, it just felt right. We began to shape and develop these songs at gigs and I'm very proud of this album :)

Kayleigh is joined by her killer band on this album, featuring Sophie Min (piano), Lachlan Hawkins (drums), Tristan Rogers (trumpet) and Zac Sakrewski (bass).

Albums are expensive... I was so very lucky to receive a scholarship last year and I've invested a lot of my own money and energy into this project. I just need your help to push me over the line! Your pledges will help with:

- Promotion

- Band fees

Any money received in excess of the target amount will go towards touring and gives us the opportunity to plan more fun stuff!

Well, most of the hard work has been done! As it's my debut release, I've been seeking guidance from my mentors and colleagues on this project, which I am so appreciative of. I've armed myself with knowledge to ensure that this album is released smoothly and that it reaches as many people's ears as possible. Everything is ready to go, the only thing remaining is the funds to get the album printed and out to the world!
