I aim to produce a beautiful book full of meaningful and passionate poems and sonnets matched with stunning photos from various artists around the world. I hope to shed light on the life changing illness, Depression. It's an illness that affects many yet is discussed by few. I hope by showing people the sad beauty that can stem from such a debilitating illness, and hopefully get more people talking about it. In reading my book, I can only dream that it may challenge someone to actually seek help for their own issues, or possibly notice it in someone else. This book is not narrated, so each piece of writing is there for the readers own interpretation so they are able to relate it to themselves.

The reason I need funding is due to production costs including paying artists for use of their work, paying for editing/formatting as well as publishing costs. Depending on the final publishing costs and retail prices, I hope to donate a dollar amount from the sale of each book to a charity aimed at mental health awareness, BeyondBlue.
