YOU ARE INVITED to the UniSA 2014 Visual Arts graduate exhibition 'ENCOUNTER'!
We are the Honours, Masters by coursework, graduate diploma and undergraduate students of Visual Arts at UniSA. We want to get together and show you all what we've been working hard on this year! We're organising a MASSIVE exhibition, opening on the 10th December and we want to make it the best possible show for everyone. The exhibition will showcase work in over 10 different mediums by over 90 incredibly talented students.
The exhibition will enable us to showcase and potentially sell our work not only to friends and family but to the wider community and industry professionals. It will help many of us establish important relationships and help get us on the road to becoming professional artists.
It goes without saying that putting together a show like this requires A LOT of work and the entire show is self-funded. With the help of various grants, generous sponsors and supporters, and other fundraising projects we're aiming to raise over $33,000 in total. So, we’ve been very busy organising, designing and creating but we need YOUR HELP to make it possible!

How The Funds Will Be Used
All of the money raised through this campaign will go towards marketing the exhibition and event production, including:
- Printing costs for banners, posters, invites and exhibition advertisements
- Design costs for a website which will help promote the event as well as provide online portfolios for all exhibiting artists
- Catering costs for the opening night
- Gallery hanging and set up costs so that works of all shapes and sizes can be displayed professionally!

The Challenges
Although we are applying for grants which will help fund various other costs of the exhibition, like catalogue design and production; marketing and catering the event are areas that are not covered by the grants. We therefore hope to raise enough money here with the help of our friends, families and the wider community to cover these crucial costs and enable us to direct our other fundraising pursuits towards other equally important areas of the show.
