Hey there!
This campaign's about raising the funds to support me in my quest to make a high-quality, ground-breaking soundtrack to my live cabaret show: Miss K is...Wrong . com!
The song's are all original (except for one parody) and have proven a highlight to my over-all performance.
Instead of recording this one in a home-studio (as I did with the last EP), I have decided to branch out and use a top-end recording studio (Salt Studios, Brighton) and an incredibly talented musician and producer (Andy Burns) to flesh out the songs to be bigger than anyone could have imagined possible.
We need to create a full rock sound for one, country quintet for another, piano-bar blues trio for yet another and the list goes on. Each song is different and needs a unique backing band, not to mention a plethora of complex backing vocals.. admittedly, mostly supplied by yours truly.
The CD is going to be used in three extremely important ways in order for me to grow my brand and reputation:
1) To become part of my support material when applying for both national and international music/arts festivals
2) As part of my press-kit for local radio play when touring to various cities and towns around the country
3) To sell as merchandise at live shows. Everyone loves a take-home CD!

How The Funds Will Be Used
The funds will be used in five major ways:
1) To pay the fabulous Andy Burns for his work as record producer, musician, mixer and over-all music director.
2) Four day hire of Salt Studios plus the use of their talented in-house engineer
3) Up to six individual musicians to play specialist roles including drums, guitar solos and strings
4) Graphic design for the CD cover, including all the thank-you's to you good folk
5) CD replication x 500 so that I can get the little beauty all over town and beyond!
