Hot buttered toast and a nice cup of tea/coffee is a common breakfast set and energy booster for people to begin their day freshly and energetically. However, dealing with a cold stick of butter for the toast is always frustrating as you try to cut and spread the butter on that toast but it just won't melt. The process of making your breakfast will be time consuming and struggling as dealing with a cold butter is similar as cutting a rock.
Now there are five mechanical student from Taylor's University School of Engineering believe they can solve this challenge by introducing The Hot Butter. The Hot Butter will make the process of making a nice breakfast set with less frustration and most important, LESS TROUBLESOME, FASTER AND EASIER.
The Hot Butter is a electrical heated butter knife that let you cut through the cold butter and spread the butter onto the toast without exerting too much force as it is as easy as cutting a tofu. The Hot Butter is powered by AA batteries to activate the heating element to heat up the blade in order to melt and cut through the cold butter. No putting the butter into microwave, no waiting for the cold butter to be soften, just turn on the heating feature ofThe Hot Butter and watch the refrigerated butter melt and nicely spreaded onto your toast.

Unfortunately, the production of The Hot Butter hasn't been started yet as the team is still in the research and designing stage. To proceed to prototyping and manufacturing stage, the team will need an amount of money to purchase the materials and carry out testing for different materials.
The Hot Butter save your time and reduce the effort in dealing with cold butter! It makes the process of preparing breakfast or high tea LESS TROUBLESOME, FASTER and EASIER! Of course, it replaces the standard butter knife with heating feature and creative design!

How The Funds Will Be Used
The team is currently working on the designing and simulating part of The Hot Butter. Hence, the produce the prototype of The Hot Butter, the team will need the funds to purchase materials in order to carry out experiment and testing on the materials for the blade of The Hot Butter. Majority of the funds will be used in purchasing materials for experimental purpose, followed by prototyping and manufacturing, transportation and miscellaneous.

The Challenges
1. Getting the Materials for the Blade
The challenge will be finding a place where the team can get the materials for the blade to be tested in a small amount as most of the manufacturers for the materials will be selling the materials in bulk however the team only needs a small amount of materials for testing.
The team has found some manufacturers that can supply the team with small amount of materials for testing however the team will need some funds to purchase the materials. Any form of support will be appreciated. Whether it is in sponsoring the materials for the team to carry out experiment and test and also in monetary form.
2. Marketing and Advertising Plan for The Hot Butter
In order to introduce The Hot Butter to the market, the team will need a good marketing and advertising plan. However, the team is lacking of marketing knowledge as most of the members in the team are technical based. Hence, producing a good marketing and advertising plan for this project will be one of the biggest challenges for the team.
The team is recruiting members through online platform who has great marketing and advertising skills, photoshop and video editing skills and good writing skills.
