THE PERFORMANCE
K&L/Rio Rhythmics Zouk group and Zouk-contemporary duo Kylie and Rhiannon have received a great honour, having been invited to perform at the 2013 International Prague Zouk Congress.
This is an amazing opportunity for some of Australia's finest Zouk-lambada dancers to present their work overseas and showcase Australia's depth of talent and passion for Latin dance, alongside professional and internationally renowned professional artists including Australia's own Kadu and Larissa, and Allison and Audrey.
The week long Prague Zouk congress is a highlight on the international Zouk-Lambada calendar, bringing together the world's best instructors, over 40 leading artists and Zouk dancers from around the world.
We're inviting you to be our partner for this exciting next dance. With your support we'll proudly show Zouk dancers around the world that Australia is passionate about Latin dancing and home to great dancers.
As a huge thankyou for helping travel the group to Prague, everyone who pledges support will receive a fantastic reward.
THE PASSION
Rhiannon, Kylie, Elise, Dieter, Tristan and Kadu (K&L/Rio Rhythmics Zouk group) recently raised the roof in Brisbane with an inspiring and unparalleled K&L Zouk choreography at Australia's largest Brazilian dance congress Brazil Central, and will be lighting up the stage again at the prestigious Sydney Latin Festival.
Rhiannon and Kylie, Australia's contemporary-Zouk duo, are also known for their athleticism, grace and energy, winning the Australian Open Latin Team Solo in 2011 and 2012 with their exquisitely synchronised and mesmerising new evolution of Zouk.
These very talented Latin dancers and performers love to share their passion for Latin dance on the social dance floor, in classes and on stage around Australia. Many in the scene know and love them, and love dancing with them (there's many more dances yet to come!).
Every member of the group has spent years training and dances from the heart and will proudly show the world that Australia is well and truly on the Latin dance map when they take to the social dance floor and the stage in Prague.
SUPPORTING US
The cost of travelling the team is more than $12,000 but as all good dance partners do we'll carry most of our own weight if you give us your support. Your help will also give us added inspiration and motivation, knowing you're cheering us on.
