JINGLE
A brand new Australian Musical Comedy, coming to Brisbane Metro Arts in 2014.
Meet Sarah and Molly. Best friends since childhood.
Sarah is a jingle writer. Molly owns her own pet store.
Sounds simple? It's not.
Life needs to change for these characters, before they get stuck in a world of 'what if's', self frustration and bankruptcy. When a devious plan to take back the reins dangles before them - temptation gives in and success begins to taste real for the first time. But at what cost?
Set to an exciting new soundtrack, music and lyrics composed by Lauren O'Rourke, JINGLE will leave you singing and laughing all the way home from the theatre!
This is just the first step for JINGLE. Every show needs to start somewhere, and Metro Arts will be a great platform to launch this fresh new musical piece. The plan is to perform and promote JINGLE in Brisbane before working it up to a touring level, both nationally and internationally.
We believe in JINGLE, and we hope you all will too.

How The Funds Will Be Used
Q: So what will the money be put towards?
A: Venue hire and production costs.
Apparently there is no such thing as a money tree. Boo. As an emerging company with a first-time production, we are hoping that Pozbile is that window of support that we are looking for!
To hire the theatre space, including rooms for rehearsals, we are needing approximately $1400. On top of that, the additional production costs for lighting, sound, set construction, and wardrobe/props brings the budget up to $3000.
Every little bit helps.

The Challenges
Fear #1: Not getting enough bums on seats.
Company 27 meets Fear#1: Kapow! We overcome this by promoting JINGLE to infinity and beyond via social media, good ol' fashioned papers, word of mouth, poster drops, etc...
Fear #2: Being unsuccessful with our Pozible pledge, hence, having to find the proposed money elsewhere.
Company 27 meets Fear#2: Kapow! So we failed our pozible pledge. That sucked. But we will march forward! However, the show's dates will need to move as well. (Boo) In order to get the funds needed, we will move JINGLE's performance season back, so that we have the time to do this. Not our ideal proposal, but like we said: we believe in Jingle. It will happen.
Fear#3: Critics hate JINGLE.
Company 27 meets Fear#3: Kapow! Thanks for the feedback! If majority votes FAIL, we take that on board, and we go back to the drawing board to improve. We work harder, and we come back better than before.
