Who on Earth are you guys?!

Nice to meet you, too.  Nat, Ethan & Werzel are a trio of film makers based in Perth, Western Australia.

- Natalie Lewis (Producer)
Nat is a Stand-up Comic, Actress and Writer with a passion for situation comedy who holds a B.A with Honours in Performance and Media from the University of Salford in the UK, with credits in UK independent films. Since arriving in Australia several years ago, she has also worked by day as a state hopping Recruitment Consultant, a role which makes use of her impressive organisational skills and managerial ability.

- Ethan Marrell (Writer/Director/Producer)
Ethan is a multi-talented film maker, with 5 imdb credits as a Screenwriter, 5 as Producer, 3 as Director and 3 as 1st Assistant Director, as well as credits as an Actor, Composer, Editor and Production Manager. He won the 2006 WA Screen Award for Best Direction (Non Drama) for his short, "Willetton UFO Conspiracy Theory". He recently landed in Los Angeles to attend a professional screenwriting conference. When home in Perth, Ethan works as a professional performer and filmmaker.

- Paul "Werzel" Montague (Writer/Director/Producer)
Werzel is an award winning professional Stand-up Comedian and Actor with more than 15 years experience, who has performed at venues and major comedy festivals all over Australia, as well as in the USA. As an Actor, he has credits in film, television, theatre and too many TV commercials. He has been a Radio Broadcaster and a Producer of radio, short films and live comedy shows. Werzel has also been writing and directing since his university days completing a B.A in Drama Studies. He is a current member of the national nomination panel for the Helpmann Awards (Comedy) and the WA Workshop Co-Ordinator of the Melbourne International Comedy Festival's 'Deadly Funny' Indigenous Comedy Programme.

Nat, Ethan and Werzel have gathered an outstanding group of talented and professional film-makers and actors to make up the cast and crew for the production of Super Dingo, who are generously committing their time to the project for free.

What do you want my money for?!

That's a fair question. We're asking you to support our team to shoot the first two 6 minute episodes of Super Dingo this November. Our shooting scripts for these episodes have been finalised after months of development and we're now in full scale pre-production. Locations have been sourced, roles are being cast, elaborate costumes are being made, ridiculous props are being built and expensive equipment is being booked.

Through the generousity of our cast and crew, and the calling in of every favour we have, we'll deliver these two episodes for a budget of $6,000. $3,500 of that we have sourced already through writing and development grants. For the remaining $2,500, we turn to you, asking that you become a supporter of something new, wonderful and only slightly strange, that we'll all be really amused by, proud of and chuffed with.

What am I gettin’ out of it?!

Depending on your level of support - we'll gratefully accept your donation starting from $15 - you'll get some pro quo for your quid, which includes some exclusive souvenirs and memorabilia, up to some really cool perks. See our list of Project Rewards for specifics.

More importantly, you'll get the satisfaction and bragging rights of having helped bring a really imaginative, original and funny comedy show to life that will be very now, very Australian, totally fresh and incomparable to anything else in the entertainment cosmos.

Consider the bargain: Starting from less than what you'd spend on one cinema ticket, you'll be able to jump in on conversations about Super Dingo with, "Yeah, I had a hand in producing that show. I'm totally in the movie business. Whatever. It's no big deal."

You'll also become part of the Super Dingo family. We'll keep you in the loop and updated with releases, news and any further Super Dingo happenings in the future.

Will this make me famous…?

Well...not necessarily, no...but we can definitely guarantee that it won't impede you from becoming famous.

What if you raise more than the 2 and a half grand you're chasing?

We won't lie to you; we'd love to raise more than $2,500. The current production budget we're working on is the minimum we require to do the project well – to do it justice. Any funds over and above this would be spent on taking elements of production to a greater level: Better camera hire, better lighting hire, better visual effects, better sound design, better set dressing. Whether working from our minimum budget or a greater amount; our first priority is to produce something truly excellent.
