See You Next Wednesday
The 100% Update:
SYNW is now over 100% funded! An extra special thanks to all our supporters who were with us from the start.
But, of course, Team SYNW is not done. As there is so much love for the project we want even more people to join our family, keep pledging, and let us take this film to the next level; making it bigger and better!
So keep spreading the word, keep up the pledges, keep safe in the middle of nowhere and, of course, see you next Wednesday!
--
See You Next Wednesday is a black comedy with a supernatural twist. We meet Irish, a charismatic drug runner out in the middle of nowhere (why do these deals always go down in the most inconvenient of settings?) and hear his thoughts on professional etiquette, U2 and meat loaf. The film is an homage to some of our favourite writers and directors including John Landis and Quentin Tarantino.
Justin Burford, known for his music career in Australian band 'End Of Fashion', has penned a mind bending, genre-smashing script that is fast paced, funny, frightening and above all, highly entertaining. Justin himself will perform the film's central character.
Kal Englishby, already accomplished in her brand new career as a writer and director is taking the helm to bring this twisted little tale to life.
We have assembled an amazing team who are working out of pure love and passion for the project. We do need some money to cover the costs of a little bit of food, some small production expenses etc. but mostly to bring to life the film's hairy twist!! We don't want to spoil it by telling you what it is, but trust us, it will make you howl with delight when you see it on the screen.
We don't need much but anything you can spare we can stretch a long long way.
If you're unable to contribute, you can still do us a huge favour by spreading the word and sharing this link, liking us on Facebook or even just telling your friends and family.
Thanks for taking the time to check us out and of course…"See You Next Wednesday!!"
