Hi everyone, thanks so much for stopping by, and thanks to those who've supported so far, it means alot to me.
The last six months have been very busy indeed!
I'm excited to announce that I've recorded an album of original soul music with an incredible line up of musicians including Brendan St Ledger, Alex Hewetson, Jamie Cameron, Arne Hanna, James Greening, Matt Keegan, Nick Garbett, Tina Harrod, Virna Sanzone and The Noise String quartet.
It's been an intense but rewarding ride, a real labour of love and I'm really happy with the results.
The songs are all composed by me except one by the very talented Daryl Aberhart, another by my dear friend Carolyn Shine who sadly passed away a few months ago, a little know song by Billie Holiday and one by long time collaborator and musician extraordinaire Sean Wayland.
I can't wait to share my music with you all..
But there's still alot of work to be done and things to be paid for such as mastering, pressing, posters, artwork, promotion, filming the launch etc. Then there's the album launch at The Basement on June 20th with the full 15 piece band plus I'm planning to go overseas after the launch to look for management and a label to release the album internationally.
