Lirio

My name is Lirio, I am 11 years old and I want to raise money to help injured wildlife using my passion for art and design.  

A few months ago we helped rescue an injured sulphur crested cockatoo in the Adelaide Hills. It was lying on the edge of the road in the path of very fast moving cars.  We went back to have a look and it was very distressed, gasping for air and shaking.  We carefully wrapped it up in a blanket and after a few phone calls, found out that the local vet could help.  We took the poor bird there where they looked after it as best they could,  but they depend on donations to offer any treatment to inured wildlife.  

This had a big impact on me.  I am an artist, I love to draw in my spare time and draw on paper and also in Procreate, a digital platform for illustrators.   I was inspired to design a set of three cockatoo themed greeting cards to raise money to help this cause.   I finished my designs and we sent them to the printer and they look amazing!   We have printed 75 cards but if we sell all of these we can print some more!

You can buy one for $7, two for $13 or all three for $20.  You can give a bigger donation if you wish.  

All profits (after we cover printing and potage costs) will go to Wildcare Australia, a not for profit organisation based in South East Queensland which helps rescue, care for and return to home, injured wildlife.  They also offer training to volunteers and resources for the general public.

The printing cost aobut $2 per card and postage will cost $1.70 for up to three cards.   That means if you buy all three cards for $20 we will be able to give $16.30 to Wildcare Australia!

We have 25 sets of cards printed but if we sell them all we will be able to get more printed!
