The 'Alien Spice Bar' is the newest engineering project by Lixa Brandt, operator of arts group 'Futurelic'-manufacturer of robotic organisms, the ASB features a vintage metropolitan bus converted into a Sci-fi themed mobile gallery/venue staffed by aliens. The 'Alien Spice Bar' specializes in intergalactic nonalcoholic refreshments made with natural ingredients that fizz, bubble, melt and energize its patrons.

The Alien Spice Bar is former Sydney metropolitan bus that has been converted into a gallery / venue with modular components that allow the vehicle to be converted quickly. It features removable car bonnets as shutters, appendages for exterior benches, a rooftop stage, built in industrial style cafe, audio/visual system, projection screens, wifi capabilites and is completely self sufficient. The Alien Spice Bar acts as mobile gallery for the exhibition of the work of futurelic and friends, is a venue for performance works and a fully interactive installation space where patrons become part of a Sci-fi set. The ASB is able to go anywhere and enact its mission at any event.  Futurelic is seeking $6000 plus to assist in the final fit out of the ASB for its maiden journey and has heaps of great rewards to offer for those who pledge support!  Check out the great    plans***.

The ASB will be doing circuit with its exciting variety of active ice drinks and performers, featuring at festivals, films, functions, special events, looking forward to rural events and setting up in conjunction with futurelic exhibitions. The ASB will also be involved in fundraising for forest campains promoting the animal aliens in Australien.

The ASB is inspiring to work on without the restrictions of land, buildings and lease, futurelic promotes mobility and specializes in recycling and mutation.  The ASB is an autonomous space for many to enjoy and for futurelic to enjoy interacting with the public in a specially designed space.

The ASB is more than a Bar it is a multi sectional exploratory area that people are welcome to experience audio and visuals that is unique to futurelic.

Futurelic is very excited about creating the ASB and will be promoting the ASB with live feed via Skype on site and project updates will be posted via facebook , ASB page , Futurelic website, twitter .
