RUBY TUESDAY is a backstage drama in a frankenstein world about the manipulation of a young woman with blind ambition.

Ruby is an aspiring punk musician in a duo with her friend Tuesday. The girls are struggling to find work until Ruby catches the eye of punk legend Vince Von Viper who offers her a contract if she marries him. But Viper is something far more sinister as Tuesday discovers, after she uncovers his six dead ex wives.

Ruby and Tuesday are forced to fight each other not only for the contract but also for their own survival. What starts out as a disagreement between friends becomes deadly when Ruby decides to make the ultimate sacrifice for her own career.

Allows for a 5.1 surround mix and helps us to hire a professional sound team and create Ruby Tuesday’s original sound track.

$1000 – Visual Effects

Where all the gorey goodness lies! All visual effects will be done on set by a team of talented artists.

Includes set dressing, props and costume.

RUBY TUESDAY is a neo-noir inspired horror film with a gothic aesthetic. The script is great but we want to make sure we deliver it on-screen with excellent production design, effects and sound. So you guys can enjoy it! All pozible funds are dedicated to these departments so you can see and hear exactly what you have kindly contributed towards!

Production Design - Lucy Claire has a very distinct modern gothic visual style that is achieved through a collaboration with similarly dark individuals. There are costs not only for props, set and location but also for transport. 

Visual Effects - Our lovely visual effects team are lovely talented people but the make up and the amount Ruby Tuesday requires is significant. 8 people through out the 5 day shoot, require VFX make up. To make sure each one looks amazing, we need your help!

Sound - In film, good sound is every bit as important as what is on screen. We want to ensure this by hiring a professional sound recordist and teaming up with a post-production house to achieve a 5.1 surround mix. This allows us to take the film to festivals where you can see it!
