The Earwig in Paris involves me "earwigging" or eavesdropping on conversations in Paris, then creating an illustrated response and posting it on my blog "The Earwig" http://the-earwig.tumblr.com/ for public consumption, thus improving my drawing skills in the process!

I will also document my own inevitable travel mishaps (like the time I had yesterdays undies stuck in my jeans for a whole day of sightseeing in Berlin....)

All the pictures I create will be up for grabs once I have posted them. I will incorporate a collage of metro tickets, flyers etc that I gather on the way into the drawings, creating a unique and textured image. I hope to focus my attentions around Paris' major tourist attractions offset by some of it's less picture postcard spots.

(The illustrated rewards will be issued on a first come, first served basis. They will be presented in a recycled A4 Map envelope featuring a European destination - perfect as a gift. The post cards and cards will be from a selection of my best drawings including captions and each note card comes with a beautiful envelope from a recycled European map. I use the highest quality fade proof ink and acid free water-colour paper and recycled materials and re-purposed travel documents where possible! Prices include standard postage anywhere in the world EXCEPT for the framed pictures, which are available to Australian residents only and will incur a postage charge - except within Tasmania where framed originals will be available for collection, before Christmas)
