Hi all,
I'm really excited about the launch of this recording project through pozible.  I'll be working with the great team at Wizardtone studios here in Adelaide for all the recording, mixing and mastering.  As many of you know, I'm moving to Germany mid-year and I'd like to be able to use this recording to promote my work in my soon to be new home...but more than that, I thought it was time to put my own stuff out there.
So the recording will feature my quartet (and a few special guests!) with a mixture of Jazz Standards that I've arranged, Original compositions and also some songs by the likes of Wayne Shorter/Herbie Hancock/Wes Montgomery that I've written lyrics to.
It'll be a proper Jazz album with minimal overdubs, I guess you'd say it's in the classic Blue Note style of recording - we're gonna try and capture the magic of live Jazz so you don't just hear it, but feel it too!
To say I'm excited is an understatement......I've set myself a timeframe of a few months so it's time to get cracking!!!

My main obstacle is time - I've been preparing for this recording personally but it's time to get the band in and start putting their own touch on it all.
