My gorgeous son Bailey was born with both a genetic disorder (isodicentric y chromosome) and narcolepsy. After 3 failed attempts with different medication we have finally found a medication that manages to keep Bailey awake during the day without side effects. Although this medication is the first resort for children with narcolepsy in America, unfortunately it is not funded in Australia and very expensive to purchase and this is why we need your help.
How The Funds Will Be Used
Medication :)
- Purchasing the medication
- Appealing the current guidelines that have refused funding for this medication.
Ongoing Pathology, Tests and Transport.
- Bailey has frequent blood tests, MRI screenings and sleep studies.
New Therapies to help Bailey catch up on what he has missed whilst sleeping
