Hi there friends, family and the world.
The Little People are Rising! Who Makes The Rules? Who's in charge? How do we make things better?

Led by year 5/6 students, Coburg Primary is in the process of creating their annual show. The performance is exploring themes in relation to our inquiry subject, Who makes the rules?

Coburg Primary and the school community are committed to giving their children a unique opportunity to develop life skills that will help them as they enter high school and emerge as future leaders in our community. We are having lots of fun exploring status, power and the powerless.

We are also learning about concept development, performance, costume, design, narrative, production, publicity and front of house.

All 200 students at the school will perform in the show and they are currently learning different physical theatre and basic circus skills to help create scenes for each class.

The school show/concert is a biannual event and follows the successful 2012 Here There Project. This show used puppetry and visual theatre in its making.

This year we have parents who are volunteering their services to help us make the show. Director Dan Mitchell, producer Katrine Gabb and musician Suzannah Espie are helping shape the show in collaboration with the grade 5/6 students and teachers at the school.

We hope you can help us make this show by pledging to the project as a sponsor. You can donate as little as $5 or as much as you like, we don't mind. Crowd funding is a great way for us to not only raise money for the project, but to welcome you into the community around the project and keep you updated on developments. Yours Positively Coburg Primary School Kids and Volunteers.
